WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS | August 10, 2023

Shalom and Happy August! As summer winds down and the High Holidays seem right around the corner, we are organizing the office, decluttering and streamlining workflow. Thank you for your patience, help and warm introductions as I'm learning the ropes in my new role as office manager at CAA.

Make sure to take advantage of the beautiful weather and long days of summer. This is the perfect time to spend time with family and friends, try new outdoor activities, and enjoy some relaxation before the busy holiday season begins in September. Soak up the sun, go for a hike, or plan a BBQ – whatever it is that brings you joy and allows you to recharge before the High Holidays.

Congratulations to Shari and Mike on the birth of Aidan Issac, from proud grandparents Glen and Jackie Davis. Aidan joins his brothers Asher and Rowan.

Please use Caution! As part of the Washington Street construction, a pump will be temporarily installed in our driveway. Both driveways remain open.

In-person Shabbat Service

at Spec Pond

Please join us for a meaningful and uplifting experience as we come together in community to celebrate a summer Shabbat. We will have a beautiful outdoor space to gather. Everyone is invited for swimming, water and beach fun starting at 4PM (weather permitting). Everyone is invited to stay for Kabbalat Shabbat service on the beach at 6PM (rain or shine). Feel free to bring picnic dinners, beach blankets, toys and games and make a night out of it!

The directors of the JCC invite you to join us for the 2023 summer season. Our friendly lakeside facility is very inviting on a hot summer’s afternoon.

If you haven’t joined before this could be your year to begin enjoying the pleasures of Spec Pond.

It is our intention that lifeguards will provide waterfront supervision daily from 12:00PM to 6:00PM during our operational season 6/30-8/27.

We are hoping you will join us for a safe and relaxing summer!
